After many days of endless and nonstop walking, we were allĀ so lazy to wake up because today would be another day of walk and walk again.
Learning from our experience on day 4, we decided to purchase tourist day pass. For just HKD55, we can enjoy unlimited ride on the MTR for the next 24 hours. It’s worthy as we’re going to many places and MTR ticket is not cheap at all. But make sure you have your passport with you to prove that you’re a tourist when purchasing the ticket.
It’s around 10am+ when we reached Shatin New Town Plaza. Most of the shops weren’t open yet, however my gf still managed to get a pair of sandal for herself as well a belt for me before we went to McDonald for breakfast.
As we cannot get non-halal McD in Malaysia, so we must only order all the non-halal burger.

Tasty Sausage McMuffin Burger (HKD18.00)
Here is my Sausage McMuffin with Egg (HKD18.50)
I finally got a pair of Nike shoes which I wanted to have for so long already. Sportshoes in Hong Kong is much cheaper compared to Malaysia, the one that I bought costs even less than HKD400. Design wise isn’t found in Malaysia yet, even though it’s stock clearance sales. Then we rest again at Honeymmon Dessert to satisfy our sweet tooth.
Jo told us that Honeymoon Dessert serves a better Chilled Mango with pamelo and sago. So it’s now our turn to try it out. I like both varieties like the one i had at Hui Lau Shan and this one at Honeymoon Dessert. Even though this one doesn’t have mango sorbet, but the pure chilled mango puree is perfectly blended with pomelo and sago. Equally tantalising!

Mango with ice cream and black glutinous rice, HKD29
The main purpose of our visit to New Town Plaza isn’t because of shopping or food, but this place called the Snoopy’s World that is located at the Level 3 podium.
Doesnt this remind you of your childhood? For those 80’s babies anyway.
Doghouse Entery: Snoopy House
Canal ride with Snoopy and friends
Or fishing?
Snoopy and the gang popping out of a pumpkin… Halloween Adventure
Peanuts Academy of ‘Snoopy’s World”
I am so sick, can I have 2 days MC?
Even though Snoopy’s World is small, but Snoopy and his gang did entertained me well. So why don’t you consider to include this place in your itinerary too? After all, entrance is free. A good shopping mall and a good sight for the eyes. (^_^)
