Trash the dress is now a new trend in wedding photography. Also known as fearless bridal or rock the frock, it emphasizes on the contrasts elegant clothing with an environment in which it is out of place. But no many people can accept this kind of concept and the damage on the gowns.
As mentioned earlier, Her Majesty was the one who suggested to do Trash The Dress for pre-wedding. At first I couldn’t really accept the idea until she showed me some photos that she found from internet. Then she started sourcing for a photographer who she think can master the concept well. The whole planning stage took about 4 months and finally it took place at an abandon construction site in Bukit Bintang.
The session started off with a make over by one of the international make up artists Steven.
First we had some shots in the building.
Then we moved to outdoor and started to ruin the wedding gown
Round off the session by rubbing mud on the gown and her hands.
In return we received about 500 edited photos, which is really worth the money we paid. Just selected some of our favourite shots to share with everyone, and those very intimate one will only be kept for our lifetime memory. A good one, for sure.
