Many of our indian friends told us before that if we want to have good nasi kandar in KL, Kudu bin Abdul @ Jalan TAR which has a history of half-a-century would tempt our palate. I always told my lovely wife let’s go and have a try, but after few years, finally we’re there on last Wednesday.
This place is always packed during lunch hour so be ready to queue up under the hot sun, but by judging at the long queue of people and looking at them willing to line up during the hot day, this place must really be worth it.
Many of the specialties like mutton, ayam masak kicap, fish curry, kari sotong still top the customers’ favourite list. After experience twice at this so called famous nasi kandar place in Bangsar, we were well prepared that our wallet would be lighter.
Mutton for me
And ayam masak merah for her
The kuah is not too salty or hot like the one we had in Bangsar. Pricing wise, we really didn’t expect it to be this cheap. RM16.10 for all these, including drinks and papadam. Finally, curiosity didn’t kill the cat. We’ll be back again soon… HO CHAK!
